Apollo

God of Music and Poetry

Joy

There is a joy in my loins
A vital, impatient, gregarious joy
A pleasure in myself that presses outward
Seeking society
in co-mingling

A joy that wants expression
Whispered to one
Who blossoms in our assembly
And regards my sharing
As a clumsy Love and
Affection on Earth
